Pamela Hart
Pam Hart is an artist with thirteen years of experience in the ceramic medium. She is presently in her seventh year of teaching adults at the Studio School of the Midland Center for the Arts in Midland, Michigan. Her portfolio includes sculptural pieces, functional pieces, and pieces for worship.
She taught for twenty years in both the elementary and secondary systems, including teaching academics and instrumental and choral music. She pursued graduate studies at the University of Michigan, Central Michigan University, and Michigan State University, primarily in music.
Her work as an artist includes designing and constructing banners for celebrations and worship, and creating ceramic pieces.
She has ceramic liturgical pieces in use at the Chapel of Wisconsin Lutheran College, Milwaukee; Holy Scripture Lutheran Church and Midland Free Methodist Church in Midland, Michigan; and Faith Lutheran church, in Mt Pleasant, Michigan.
Her work has been exhibited, most recently in “Art from the Heartland” - Indianapolis Art Center, June 2020; “Persistence II Exhibition” —d’Art Center, Norfolk, Virginia, February 2020; “50 Artists” —Studio 23, Bay City, Michigan; “Michigan Now” — CTAC Juried Fine Arts Exhibition, Crooked Tree, Petoskey, Michigan, 2019; “Greater Michigan Art Exhibit” — Midland Center for the Arts, 2019; 2-person exhibition Creative 360, 2018. She received an Award of Merit at Studio 23’s “50 Artists -2022.”
